- 2 tablespoons lard or vegetable oil
- 100 g (3.5 oz) dry pasta (noodles or wide egg noodles)
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 2 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 liter (4 cups) water or chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon marjoram
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the lard or oil in a pot. Add the dry pasta and fry until golden brown.
- Add the chopped onion and garlic, sauté until the onion is soft.
- Stir in the paprika, then immediately add the diced potatoes and water or broth.
