Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 2 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 liter (4 cups) water or vegetable broth
- 250 g (9 oz) savoy cabbage, shredded
- 4 Frankfurter sausages, sliced
- 200 ml (3/4 cup) sour cream
- 2 tablespoons flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until soft.
- Add the minced garlic and paprika, stirring quickly to avoid burning.
- Add the diced potatoes and cover with water or broth. Bring to a boil.
- Add the shredded cabbage and cook until the potatoes are tender.
- Add the sliced sausages and cook for another 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix the sour cream with flour. Slowly add some hot soup to temper the mixture, then pour it back into the pot.
