Ingredients

  • 250 g (9 oz) crushed biscuits
  • 200 g (1 cup) powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 packet (10 g or 2 teaspoons) vanilla sugar
  • 100 g (7 tablespoons) margarine or butter, at room temperature
  • 100 ml (1/2 cup) milk
  • 100 g (1 cup) shredded coconut (for rolling)
  • 2 tablespoons rum (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Biscuit Base

In a large bowl, mix the crushed biscuits, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla sugar.

2. Add Ingredients

Add the room temperature margarine or butter, then gradually pour in the milk. (If using rum, add it at this stage.)

3. Knead the Dough

Knead the mixture until you get a well-formed, homogeneous dough. If it feels too dry, you can add a little more milk.

4. Shape the Balls

With damp hands, form small balls from the dough.

5. Roll in Coconut

Roll the balls in the shredded coconut, ensuring they are fully coated.

6. Chill

Place the finished balls in the refrigerator for at least an hour to set and allow the flavors to meld.
