Ingredients
- 4 medium onions
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 liter (4 cups) vegetable broth (or chicken broth)
- 200 ml (3/4 cup) heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Finely chop the onions and garlic.
2. Heat the butter and olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic, and sauté them until they soften and caramelize.
