  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 200 g (1 1/2 cups) flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 g (2 cups) breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Lemon slices for serving

Instructions

1. Preparation

Place the chicken breast fillets between plastic wrap or parchment paper, and pound them evenly to about 1 cm thickness using a meat mallet or rolling pin. Season both sides with salt and pepper to taste.

2. Breading

Place the flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs in three separate plates or shallow bowls. First, coat the chicken breasts in flour, then dip them in the eggs, and finally, coat them evenly with breadcrumbs.

3. Frying

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the breaded chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. Make sure not to overcook them to keep them from drying out. Drain excess oil by placing them on paper towels.

4. Serving
